For Safari, go to the History menu and click on Clear History.

For Mozilla Firefox, go to Tools and click on Clear Private Data.

For Netscape, go to Edit, Preferences, History and then click on Clear History.

For Opera, go to File, Preferences, History and click on Empty Now.

There are several different versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, so read closely:

For Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x and 7.x, go to Tools, Internet Options, and click on Delete Files or Delete. Users can automatically delete files each time they close the browser window by clicking the Advanced tab and checking “Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed” under Security.

For Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x users on an Apple Macintosh, click on the Hard Drive icon, System, Preferences, Explorer, and move the history file into the trash.

For Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02 and lower users, click on the View menu, Options, open the tab labeled Advanced, click the Settings tab, and click on the Empty Folder button.
