Private Internet Browsing

Learn how to keep your internet browsing and shopping safe from prying eyes.

  • How do I clear my Internet browsing history?
  • How To Keep Others From Seeing What You Surf For
Mister Private can help defend your electronic privacy. Did you know that your computer records every website you visit? That means that your boss or even Mrs. Private can view what you’ve been doing online, like ... if you were buying them gifts or new cars, for example. Clearing your Internet browser history is simple and can save you from any embarrassment.

For Safari, go to the History menu and click on Clear History.

For Mozilla Firefox, go to Tools and click on Clear Private Data.

For Netscape, go to Edit, Preferences, History and then click on Clear History.

For Opera, go to File, Preferences, History and click on Empty Now.

There are several different versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, so read closely:

For Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x and 7.x, go to Tools, Internet Options, and click on Delete Files or Delete. Users can automatically delete files each time they close the browser window by clicking the Advanced tab and checking “Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed” under Security.

For Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x users on an Apple Macintosh, click on the Hard Drive icon, System, Preferences, Explorer, and move the history file into the trash.

For Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02 and lower users, click on the View menu, Options, open the tab labeled Advanced, click the Settings tab, and click on the Empty Folder button.

To ensure your safety (and privacy), clear your browser history after you place an order on ShopInPrivate. That way, your secrets will be safe with me.
