Sudafed relieves nasal & sinus congestion due to colds and allergies.
Indications: Sudafed is for the temporary relief of nasal congestion due to the common cold, hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies, and nasal congestion associated with sinusitis. Sudafed promotes nasal and or sinus drainage; temporarily relieves sinus congestion and pressure. Sudafed temporarily restores freer breathing through the nose.
Directions: Adults and Children over 12 years old - Two tablets every 4-6 hours. Children 6-12 should take 1 tablet of Sudafed every 4-6 hours Sudafed is not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
Active Ingredient: Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30 mg per tablet.
Drug Interaction Precaution: Do not use Sudafed if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains an MAOI, consult a health profession before using Sudafed.
