Rantex - Rantex was a hemorrhoidal wipe. It was a great product. It was similar in design to Tucks Take-A longs except Rantex was far less expensive. Unfortunately, the Clinipad Corporation (the maker of Rantex) had a massive recall of some other medicinal products (not related to rantex). The recall was costly and Clinipad went out of business. We have been unable to acquire more Rantex since the Spring of 2000. Here is a link to our Hemorrhoidal Products Page.

Foltene - We used to offer a line of hair care products called foltene. These products were imported by Conair Corporation. We apologize that we can no longer acquire Foltene Items. We have been told that they may be still available at beauty supply specialists stores. You might try looking under Beauty Supply in your local yellow pages. Our next closest alternative would be Progaine Shampoo.

Neet - We have had difficulty acquiring Neet products since October of 2000. It seems that last year at this time we had the same difficulty. We are trying hard to acquire Neet hair removal products. When we receive more Neet we will immediately update the availability on our hair removal products page.

PMS Escape - PMS Escape was a successful product at Shopinprivate.com. It was a nutritional drink that helped women cope with PMS symptoms. Two people that worked here LOVED IT. The company had some difficulty and the product was unavailable for a long time. We have just been notified that PMS Escape will be available again in March of 2001! Look for it at Shopinprivate.com.

Dexatrim and Acutrim with Phenylpropanolamine (PPA) - PPA was the active ingredient in a number of appetite suppressants and decongestants including Dexatrim, Acutrim, Dimetapp, and others. In November of 2000 the FDA recommended that the production of drugs including PPA be ceased. PPA was linked to an increase in strokes among patients. In November of 2000 our supply quickly ran out. We will no longer be acquiring Dexatrim and Acutrim products that include PPA. The industry has developed alternatives such as Dexatrim Natural.

Cigarest - Usually around January of each year we receive calls looking for Cigarest gum, pills, or an audio cassette that was put out by the Cigarest company. We had some of these items in the past but are no longer able to acquire them. You can find other items to help you quit smoking here.

Depends Under Pads - Depend used to offer absorbent under pads by the case (first in 104 count, then in small 52 count cases). We can no longer acquire them. We have other underpads here.

Powdered Douches - The first phone call we ever received was someone looking for powdered douches. That was almost ten years ago. We have been searching ever since. Every month or so we receive a phone call looking for summers eve or massengill powdered douche concentrate. As I write this I have officially given up finding a powdered douche concentrate. I firmly believe they no longer exist. We do offer liquid douche concentrate calledZonite .

Progaine Shampoo for Permed, Color Treated, or Normal / Dry hair - These two varieties of Progaine Shampoo have been discontinued. We still carry Progaine Extra Body, Progaine Conditioner, and Progaine 2 in 1 Shampoo.

Compose - Compose bladder and feminine protection products are no longer being produced. It seems the company that offered them has gone out of business. We sell other incontinence products here.
