of sales that they drive to the site.
- People with personal websites can then post a banner ad, write
a recommendation, or post a link to the website.
- The webstore tracks sales from that particular link.
- The website owner is then paid on a regular basis by the
website for their contribution.
- Many of the links you see for Amazon.com, Goto.com,
BarnesandNoble.com and others are the result of their affiliate
program. You may even have found us through an affiliate
link!
Our affiliate program includes the
following:
- We pay our affiliates in cash (actually a company check). Many
affiliate programs pay only in merchandise credit. Some programs
only pay in the form of a discount. We pay greenbacks. Good old
fashioned moola. Did we say Money Honey?
- We offer a competitive affiliate rate (10% of sales).
- We are flexible about what link, ad, etc. is included on your
site. It can be as simple as a link, or a sentence mentioning our
store. That decision is up to you.
- We offer banner ads that you can use if you want.
- We try to be friendly and to make the experience fun.
- You will be given a separate page that monitors your traffic
click-throughs.
- Your separate page is updated daily. Most of our affiliates
comment that watching their traffic is cool and fun.
- In the past we had T-shirts made up for our staff and friends
and all of the affiliates received one.
- Some of our affiliates have generated a lot of traffic and not
much sales. We have tried to take care of these websites by
sending them gifts and such.
