AmLactin AP moisturizes and softens dry, itchy skin with 1% Pramoxine HCI. It's a special formulation containing 12% lactic acid neutralized with ammonium hydroxide to provide a cream pH of 4.5 - 5.5 with pramoxine HCI. Lactic acid, an alpha-hydroxide acid, is a naturally occurring humectant which moisturizes and softens rough, dry skin. Pramoxine HCI, USP, 1% is an effective antipruritic ingredient used to relieve itching associated with dry skin.
